What We Believe

Our theology is made alive by our values,
the shared ideals of who we believe we should be as a church community.
REAL COMPASSION
The good news of Jesus is about bringing the world together in worship, renewal, and restoration. While we may have differences with others, we will always strive to discover where we can work together as we seek to bring God’s Kingdom to this world.
Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.
Galatians 6:10
REAL CONNECTION
We believe that authentic faith is created from curiosity, wonder, and even doubt. We desire to be a community where you can be yourself, belong, and be challenged to grow in our faith as we develop real relationships with God and others.
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
1 John 4:7-8
REAL CHANGE
We believe that God’s Spirit works within our lives to transform us into people who exemplify Jesus’ qualities of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. While we may never be perfect, we daily seek God to work in our lives as we grow in our faith.
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
2 Corinthians 5:17
